Our health is our most valuable asset and we depend on the health system to keep us alive when disaster strikes. The Department of Emergency Medicine at UCLA Harbor Hospital is our local Level 1 Trauma Center. For example, if we were to be involved in a bad car accident in the South Bay, this would be the department where we would be treated. Our project will be to investigate and evaluate national health care systems.
