Paul Silva is the Publisher and Editor in Chief of The Beach Reporter and General Manager of the Palos Verdes Peninsula News, free weekly community newspapers in the South Bay with a combined circulation of 75,000. When Silva joined Media News in December 2007, it was the beginning of a second career at the Beach Reporter, having served as a reporter and managing editor from 1985 to 1992. Between his newspaper jobs, Silva held corporate communications and marketing positions with Unocal, Mattel, Centinela Hospital, and St. Vincent Medical Center. He is a lifelong resident of the South Bay and a graduate of UCLA. Silva lives in Manhattan Beach with his wife, Kim, and their two teenage sons.
