Mike Simms

Mike Simms is the founder of Simms Restaurants, a family of highly personal, hand-crafted restaurants that has been serving happiness since 2009. Under his leadership, the company owns and operates ten unique concepts in partnership with their chefs, including The Arthur J, AttaGirl, Fishing with Dynamite, MB Post, RYLA, Simmzy’s, and Tin Roof Bistro. A firm believer in developing talent from within, Mike has built a culture of growth and collaboration that has enabled the company to open five of its restaurants with chef partners who have risen through the ranks alongside the brand.

A Manhattan Beach resident and father of four, Mike brings the same energy and passion he pours into his restaurants to life outside of work. An avid outdoorsman, he can regularly be found surfing the Southern California coast, on the golf course, or on the ski slopes. Looking ahead, Mike is leading Simms Restaurants into an exciting new chapter with the development of a 28-room boutique hotel and restaurant in San Clemente — a natural extension of his lifelong commitment to exceptional hospitality.
