Laura Inlow

Laura, an attorney in practice for nearly 30 years, heads up the Collinson Law’s Governmental Entity Liability Practice Group, focusing on police misconduct and civil rights cases under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, as well as professional liability, premises and general liability matters. Laura has successfully tried numerous cases in the area of governmental entity liability, general liability and medical malpractice.  Before joining Collinson Law, Laura was a successful partner at one of the largest national law firms in the country, where she practiced for nearly 24 years.

In addition to her trial experience, Laura has extensive litigation experience having handled thousands of cases, many of which have included the filing of dispositive motions which have led to favorable results for her clients.  Laura also has experience handling appeals in federal and state courts and has argued cases before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the California Court of Appeal and has authored several published opinions.

Laura was born in Miami and soon thereafter she and her family moved to Virginia where she lived until early adulthood. She received both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Virginia.

Laura enjoys spending time with her husband Dan and their two sons. In her spare time, Laura can be found cheering on the sidelines of volleyball courts either watching her younger son play for USC or watching the Texas Longhorns women’s team, where her oldest son is on the coaching staff.
