Portia Cohen, Esq. is a former Mayor and Councilmember for the City of Manhattan Beach. She currently works for UCLA Health as a Strategic Liaison for Affiliations & Partnerships under the Chief of Strategy.  She previously was Corporate Counsel for Gensler Architecture Worldwide, as well as for Burns & Roe Enterprises, now POWER Engineers, Inc. Prior, she was a Trial Attorney with Cole, Schotz, Meisel, Forman and Leanard.  Portia was also a Legal Director for the Environment Now Foundation and a Project Director for the Pacific Council on International Policy. Portia was born in New York City and raised in New Jersey. She is Italian.
