Martin Keely

Martin Keely is ​a respected industry leader with over 20 years of experience focused on digital products, growth and monetization. He ​currently works as SVP, Media Networks at Blizzard Entertainment, recently named to that role in April 2019. It’s his second stint with Activision Blizzard, having previously served ​as head of operations for their Major League Gaming esports division in 2017. In his current role, he is responsible for leading the company’s media products, strategy and business operations.

Mr. Keely was previously the executive vice president, product and technology for Disney|ABC Television Group. In that role, Mr. Keely oversaw all aspects of Disney|ABC’s digital media strategy and products across non-linear and emerging platforms for ABC, ABC News, ABC Owned Stations, Disney Channel and Freeform brands. As the most senior member of the digital team, Mr. Keely collaborated with the Group’s executive leadership and business unit presidents to refine the digital strategy for the overall segment.

Prior to joining MLG, he served as general manager at Fullscreen Media, a global leader in social video where he oversaw the launch and operations of the Fullscreen SVOD platform. Before that, he spent 14 years at Major League Baseball Advanced Media, the league’s digital technology group also known as BAMTech, beginning as a producer and rising to the position of senior vice president of partner solutions where he was responsible for leading partnership operations and product strategy for global OTT partners in sports and entertainment, including HBO and WWE.

Early in his career, Mr. Keely held developer and web producer positions at pioneering internet companies GoTo.com and CitySearch Australia.

An alumnus of Georgetown University with Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and English, Mr. Keely also holds an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill.
