Marsh Mokhtari is the co-founder of Gray Whale Gin and Make Waves Ventures. He is an accomplished actor, TV host, impact entrepreneur and investor. Marsh’s multifaceted career bridges the worlds of entertainment and business.
As a TV host, Marsh has appeared on numerous popular programs, particularly in the adventure, travel, and culinary genres, including Perilous Journeys on National Geographic and Extreme Chef on The Food Network. His acting credits include roles in Alias, The Matrix Reloaded, CSI: New York, and the iconic Geico “Spy” commercial. Marsh’s passion for environmental conservation shines through his work with The Discovery Channel and National Geographic, where he produced and hosted numerous series focused on wildlife preservation and ecological causes.
Before his entertainment career, Marsh earned a BSc in Medical Physics at Newcastle University and was an athlete, playing rugby and American football for the UK National Team.
In 2023, Marsh and his wife, Jan Mokhtari, were honored with the prestigious ‘Walk the Talk’ award from Heal the Bay for their conservation efforts. Today, he serves on the board of Heal the Bay and advises purpose-driven entrepreneurs, continuing his commitment to making a positive impact in the world.
