Harrison Clay serves as the Head of Biogas in the Energy Transition Group at Mercuria Energy. Mercuria is a global energy trading and investment group based in Geneva, Switzerland.  Prior to Mercuria, Harrison served as President of Clean Energy Renewable Fuels, a biogas production, marketing and distribution company, from its inception through its sale to BP in 2016.  Harrison spent four years working in the Environmental Products group at BP in Strategic Development. Harrison has dual degrees in Anthropology and English from the University of Georgia and a law degree from the University of Virginia.  Harrison is a licensed attorney in the State of California and spent 10 years practicing law prior to starting Clean Energy Renewable Fuels.  Harrison lives in Manhattan Beach with his wife Chrissie and three children.
