George Pappas

George Pappas is Vice President of AEG Global Partnerships.  He joined AEG in 2014, bringing more than 15 years of marketing, sports and entertainment sales experience to the company.  Within AEG, George manages property sales across AEG’s robust portfolio of global assets spanning Facilities (STAPLES Center/L.A. Live, T-Mobile Arena, The O2), Sports Teams (LA Kings, LA Galaxy), Music Festivals (Coachella, Stagecoach, New Orleans Jazz Fest), esports (Immortals, LA Valiant), Lifestyle Events (Amgen Tour of California, All Star Chef Classic) and Media (AXS.com, AXS TV and AEG Multiply).  

Prior to AEG, George held partnership sales roles at Bellator MMA (Viacom/Paramount Network), dick clark productions (Golden Globes, AMAs, ACM Awards, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve) and Six Flags Theme Parks.  Aside from securing marquee Founding Partnerships for all properties, he was responsible for all sales and service for local & national sponsorships, as well as onsite and digital activations across each company’s live event portfolio. George’s client experience ranges from consumer products, luxury goods, technology, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, airline, movie studios and video games.   

George spent five years at Publicis & Hal Riney handling advertising duties for Sprint and 24 Hour Fitness.  Fresh out of college he founded, operated and sold an online flower company, 24roses.com. The entrepreneurial spirit still lives inside him as he works with his wife of seven years to write personal biographies under the banner Moxie Stories.  

George holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Master of Arts in Sport Management from the University of San Francisco.  He is a big believer in helping people identify their passion points and lives by the credo that “life is a learning experience.”  You can find him in schools up and down the state providing mentorship to middle schoolers through graduate students.  George is also a big fan of the simple things in life including USC football, chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream and cheese pizza.
