DR. MIKE HANNON

Michael Hannon, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and sports
medicine specialist at Hannon Orthopedics in Beverly Hills, California.
Originally from Rochelle, New York, he earned his Bachelor of Science in
Mechanical Engineering and met his future wife (after only a few days on
campus) at the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Hannon went on to medical
school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York and
completed his residency in Orthopedics at New York University. He and his
family then found themselves in Los Angeles as Dr. Hannon completed his
fellowship at Kerlan and Job where he worked with professional and amateur
athletes from the Dodgers, Lakers, Kings, Ducks and University of Southern
California. As a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Hannon then started his
private solo practice in Beverly Hills.
Dr. Mike Hannon and his wife, Dr. Mary Hannon, and their two sons live in
Manhattan Beach. Dr. Hannon enjoys scuba diving, cross fit, and spending time
with his family and watching his sons’ sporting events.
Dr. Hannon gives back through his work with One World Surgery, a non profit
confronting the global health crisis by providing high-quality surgical care and
primary care globally. Dr. Hannon and his family participate in week long
medical mission trips to provide life changing surgeries, primary care and dental
services in Central America.
Dr. Hannon has helped many competitive athletes, weekend warriors, and even
non-athletes who suffer things like an ACL tear or rotator cuff tear. He performs
expert ACL surgery, hip reconstructive surgery, hip replacement surgery, total
knee replacement surgery, and partial knee replacement surgery. As a sports
medicine doctor, he treats all kinds of sports injuries and performs Bankart
repair, labral repair, biceps tenotomy, cartilage repairs, and meniscal
repair.
