DR. MARY HANNON

Dr. Mary Hannon, originally from Clifton, Virginia, graduated cum laude from the
University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to
attend medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY. She
completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at the Jacobi/Montefiore
Residency Program in Bronx, NY. While in residency training, she completed a
rigorous four year program working at one of the highest volume trauma centers in
New York City and one of the busiest emergency rooms by number of visits in the
United States.
Dr. Hannon views her greatest accomplishment at this time was that she, along with
her husband, who is also a physician, were able to balance medical school and
residency while starting a family and raising their two sons. After completion of her
residency, Dr. Hannon was chosen to stay on as an attending emergency medicine
physician at Montefiore Medical Center, which consistently ranks in the top five
busiest emergency departments in the country. In 2013, the Hannon family made the
cross country move from Manhattan to Manhattan Beach and have happily called
the South Bay home. Dr. Hannon has served as an emergency medicine and urgent
care physician in several surrounding medical facilities. She is an active member in
American Martyrs parish and school and she gains incredible joy from being able to
provide quality medical care to those in her community.
